On Sunday the golfing world watched as Tiger Woods sunk his birdie putt on the eighteenth green for his first win since his personal and professional life took a turn in the wrong direction over two years ago.  At this year’s Chevron World Challenge Tiger gave all his doubters proof that he definitely still has what it takes to succeed in the game of golf.  The question on a lot of people’s minds is will he be back for good?  If so, this win will start it all off right, and it means good things for the world of golf too.  Without Tiger, many people were not tuning in to golf events of television or even buying tickets to events.

It’s evident that Tiger Wood has a positive impact on the game of golf financially speaking.  Even after Tiger announced that he would be playing in the Masters this year ticket prices soared.  Though he was unable to perform as the typical Tiger and claimed he hurt an injury, people had already played big bucks to see him.

So, Tiger Woods might not yet be a golf force to be reckoned with again, but his influence on the game is too monumental to deny.  Check out more ways that Tiger helps boost golf in financial ways.  Click the infographic to make it larger.
